Bhopal: Corona cases are increasing continuously in Madhya Pradesh. New cases of corona are coming up in the border districts of Khasabar Maharashtra. The government is worried about the Maha Shivaratri festival on 11 March. About this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan called a meeting at his residence late Wednesday evening. In which it was told that on the occasion of Mahashivaratri, it is estimated that only 20 to 25 thousand devotees will reach the Mahakal temple in Ujjain. While more than 1 lakh devotees visit here every year.
It was informed at the meeting that instructions have been given to limit the number of citizens in religious events and not to hold big events in places other than Mahakal. During this, the Chief Minister directed to prevent corona infection, especially in the districts bordering Maharashtra. He expressed concern that the problem should not extend to the border districts of the state due to the inflows from the neighboring state. Special attention should be paid to this.
The Chief Minister inquired about the Corona case which came out this week in Chhindwara and Betul districts and gave necessary instructions to the collectors through video conference. The Chief Minister also got information from the senior officials authorized for the districts and divisions where the Corona cases are increasing. During this, Principal Secretary Faiz Ahmed Kidwai informed Bhopal, Principal Secretary Sanjay Shukla, Ujjain and Additional Chief Secretary Home Dr. Rajesh Rajaura in connection with Corona cases in various border districts and also told about prevention efforts.
