Cyber crime branch Bhopal team arrests accused who cheated in the name of insurance policy from MAX LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY
Bhopal: The accused is alleged to be cheating in the name of insurance policy by luring the customers into his trap through cheap and tempting offers of the insurance policy. The accused have so far made hundreds of people from different states, victims of fraud. The duped money sums upto 20 lakh rupees from different states victims. The accused has been arrested from Delhi.
The matter came to the fore when complainant Vijay Wadhwani resident of Sindhi Colony, Berasia Bhopal and MAX LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY told the police that Wadhwani have been a victim of fraud of amount worth Rs. 95000. The crime number against mobile number and account holder- 51/22 section 420 was established and taken up for investigation.
After this the money was deposited by the complainant in the bank accounts mentioned by him. After that, when the said people were contacted by the complainant, they were asked for more money, then the complainant suspected the said people and asked for the money given to them by the complainant, they refused to give and switched off the phone after which The complainant lost contact with the said people, then the complainant felt that he had been cheated. Then a complaint application was made by the complainant regarding the said fraud in Cyber Crime Bhopal. The accused Nazir Mia age 20 years resident is a resident of Seelampur Northeast Delhi.
