Indore police seals 2 hookah bars, registers 80 & 65 cases under Excise & NDPS Act respectively

In the marathon proceedings, 80 cases were registered in the Excise Act and 65 under the NDPS Act by Indore Police after instructions of CM Shivraj Singh Chauhan in a review meeting held on 8th October to combat crime against illegal drug and alcohol mafias in State.
The Indore police went on a Surprise checking of all hotels, pubs, dhabos within the city

Indore: In the sequence of instructions received by the Chief Minister, all the Zonal DCPs including Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Mr. Manish Kapuria and Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime/Headquarters) Mr. Rajesh Hingankar were directed by the Commissioner of Police Indore (Urban) Mr. Harinarayanachari Mishra.
In compliance with the above instructions, since evening, all the DCP, ADCP, ACP and police officers and employees at the police station level, conducting intensive checking and checking, effective action was taken against drugs, in which 80 cases of Excise Act and 65 cases of NDPS Act were registered.
During this, action was taken against all the hotels, pubs and dhabos of the city by the police after they found irregularities. During the checking of suspicious places, 3 criminals of Arms Act and one criminal have been arrested under Rasuka. Along with this, two hookah bars located at Vijayanagar and Bhavarkua have also been sealed.
