State gets second position in prevention of crimes through CCTNS

Bhopal: In the CCTNS list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, NCRB, Government of India, Madhya Pradesh has been ranked second for its success in resolving cases through ICJS. State Crime Records Bureau (SCRB) Police of Madhya Pradesh has received this honor in a program organized by National Crime Records Bureau Ministry of Home Affairs NCRB on Thursday in New Delhi.

ADG Chanchal Shekhar informed that CCTNS provides advanced tools for investigation, crime prevention, maintenance of law and order and other functions like emergency response, improves communication and helps police personnel to concentrate more on core police functions. Is. It seeks to create a platform for sharing of crime and criminal information databases, for better and quicker investigation, crime prevention and tracking of criminals, suspects, accused and repeat offenders, besides sharing intelligence across state, country and other agencies. Has also helped. CCTNS is a project under Ministry of Home Affairs, NCRB, Government of India to create a comprehensive and integrated system for effective policing through e-governance. The ranking is based on the data uploaded by the police stations from registration of FIR to the current status of crime investigation. In which the police of Madhya Pradesh is continuously doing better work.

He gave detailed information about the functions of ICJS and CCTNS in the program. He told that this system is effective in strengthening the police system. Union Minister of State, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, Mr. Rajesh Jarohar, Mr. Vivek Gohia, Mr. Prasun Gupta, Deputy Director and officers of SCRB from other states were present in the programme.

Awarded

Sub-Inspector Radio Omshankar Singh from Chhatarpur working in the Interoperable Criminal Justice System (ICJS) of the State Police Department and Deepesh Yadav, head constable of the ICJS team at the police headquarters, were honored. This honor has been received for the excellent work done by the department. Mr. Chanchal Shekhar informed that 87 cases have been solved in the state through the National Automated Finger Print Identification System (NEFIS). In which 59 cases are related to criminals belonging to other states.
