Bhopal: State Cyber Police conducts workshop with E-Commerce platforms, better co-ordination in crime investigation expected

Bhopal: State Cyber Police Headquarters Bhopal on Monday 25th April under the guidance of Additional Director General of Police Yogesh Deshmukh, better co-ordination in crime investigation between cyber police and intermediaries (e-commerce platform payment gateway and payment wallet) in cyber crime investigation. A one-day workshop was organized at Hotel Palash Residency, Bhopal, regarding the prevention of cyber crimes happening at present.
In the meeting, besides the officers of State Cyber Police Headquarters Bhopal, other senior police officers, Additional Director General of Police STF Vipin Maheshwari, Additional Director General of Police SCRB Chanchal Shekhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police Crime Amit Kumar, Superintendent of Police ATS Gaurav Tiwari, Superintendent of Police STF Manoj Kumar Singh also participated.
Many important points in the workshop such as better co-ordination in crime investigation, speedy exchange of information, prevention of cyber crimes happening in the present, e-commerce platform payment gateway and payment wallet with respect to the determination of strong KYC, should be done at present. In order to provide quick response on cyber crimes so that immediate relief can be provided to the victim and to immediately block the giving of fake loans, keeping a strict vigil on online purchase and sale of prohibited items such as narcotics, illegal weapons, etc. through e-commerce platforms. And in relation to stopping such activities immediately, and e-commerce platforms, payment gateways and payment wallets at their level also, the topics related to bringing cyber awareness among the people were discussed in detail. The meeting was attended by many of the country's largest e-commerce platform payment gateways and payment wallet companies such as Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, MakeMyTrip, GoI Beebo, Alibaba, PhonePe, Paytm, Spice Money, Aeron Po Cash Fee, PayU, Citrus Payment, Officers/Nodal Officers of Blue Dart Express were present and Nodal Officers of Olamani, NPCI, Cred, PayPal, Zomato were present online in the meeting.
Will wear uniform on every Monday
During the workshop organized today, a special uniform was also implemented for all the officers/employees of Cyber Police by Yogesh Deshmukh, Additional Director General of Police, Cyber. From now on every Monday, all officers/employees from Additional Director General of Police to constable level of Cyber Police will wear this uniform, which will continue to inspire us that we have to work continuously for cyber safe world and cyber security.
