Deputy director held by Indore police after student who cleared UPSC in 1st attempt suicides

Indore: Shocking revelations have come to light in the suicide case of a 27-year-old girl in Indore. In a suicide note, the student had accused Pushkarnath, deputy director of divisional finance accounts of Rewa of physical abuse. The accused Pushkarnath is a friend of the student's brother. Brother told the accused, sister is preparing for UPSC, guide her. The girl started going to study with him. The accused also went to Indore with the girl student, but after a few days he left her and returned to Rewa. Disturbed by this, the girl embraced death. Pushkarnath told that he MPPSC had cleared in 2014-15 and was posted in Rewa. He is a resident of Dulhara village of Anuppur. He got married in 2019. His wife is also a teacher in a government school. In 2021, the girl's brother had made both of them meet. Meanwhile, both fell in love and grew closer. Pushkarnath told the police that after getting selected in MPPSC, he started preparing for UPSC in Rewa itself, but the center was found in Jabalpur. He used to come to Indore after telling his wife that he is going to Jabalpur. The student had the main exam paper only a few days later. She was very smart in studies. She had cleared the preliminary examination of UPSC in the first attempt itself. Due to this the family members expected that she would clear the mains too, but Pushkarnath left the student and went to Rewa and stopped talking. The girl realized that Pushkar had wronged her. She fell into depression and could not tell this to the family members. She hanged herself by writing a suicide note.
