Divorce ceremony organized by Bhai Welfare Society scheduled in Bhopal cancelled after protest

Bhopal: For the first time in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh, the 'Divorce Ceremony' has been cancelled. The invitation card of this event being organized by Bhai Welfare Society had become very viral on social media, but after the protest, now this event has been canceled.
Bhai Welfare Society is an NGO, which was registered in 2014. This NGO also runs a helpline for men seeking divorce. An official of the NGO had told that the ceremony was to be held on September 18 at a resort on the outskirts of Bhopal.
It was told earlier that there will be different rituals in this ceremony named dissolution of marriage, in which Jaymala Visarjan, procession procession with gents music, good intellect purification yagya and seven steps and seven vows will be given to act in human respect. In this event, 18 men who got divorced from married life in the last two-and-a-half years will be given ceremonial divorce documents. Convenor of this NGO, Zaki Ahmed told on Sunday evening that due to the opposition of some organizations The booking of the venue was canceled by the resort owner, after which Bhai Welfare Society has decided not to organize the event. "We don't want any controversy as our main job is to provide legal aid and help people overcome the crisis," he said.
