Rape accused out on bail gang rapes victim & shoots video to pressure her into withdrawing case in Jabalpur

MP News: In Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh, a man released in a rape case has raped the victim again. In fact, a man released on bail after his arrest, along with his friend, allegedly gang-raped the victim again and made a video of the incident and pressured her to withdraw the case. Police said that the woman has complained that this incident happened a month ago.
The accused was arrested in 2020
The official said that the victim is now 19 years old. He told that the accused had raped her two years ago and she was a minor at that time. Patan police station in-charge Asif Iqbal said, "According to the complainant, Vivek Patel had raped her two years ago. He along with a friend committed the same crime again." Iqbal said Patel was arrested in 2020 for raping the victim. A year after that, in 2021, he was released on bail.
Case registered
The officer quoted the victim's complaint as saying that the accused along with his friend forcibly entered her house with a knife about a month ago and they gang-raped her. Both the accused also made a video of this act and Patel also threatened to make the video viral on social media if Patel did not withdraw the previous complaint. Iqbal said that a case of gang rape was registered against both the accused on Monday and the police have started a search operation to nab them.
