Crime Branch of Bhopal Police arrests 3 bookies from Bairagarh, while the local police sat clueless

Bhopal: The Crime Branch of Bhopal Police has managed to arrest three bookies. The shocking aspect of this case is that the local police station of Bairagarh Police did not had any clue about these old bookies betting. The Crime Branch reached the spot and arrested the accused. Three lead pens and a keypad mobile along with Rs 3,000 in cash and betting accounts have been recovered from the accused. The police is interrogating them.
According to the crime branch, information was received that an old bookie named Imran Khan was taking betting slips and money from people coming and going in the vegetable market Bairagarh. The crime branch team reached the vegetable market at the place mentioned by the informer. From where three people were taken into custody, who were putting betting numbers. All the accused were brought to the Crime Branch police station. Where they have been identified as Imran Khan, 32, resident of Sanjay Nagar Bairagarh, Vicky alias Vikas, resident of Rajendra Nagar Bairagarh and Mustaq Khan, 26, resident of Rajendra Nagar.
The Crime Branch has found an old account of betting in the search of the accused. Apart from this, three thousand rupees cash has been recovered from the accused. Of these, the main accused Imran has a substantial criminal record. Action has also been taken against him under Rasuka. Being active in betting and gambling since 2011, he does this work in Bairagarh. The criminal records of his other accomplices Vicky and Bhura alias Mustaq have also been found. Police is trying to link the accused in this case by interrogating them from where they were taking the betting line.
