Rape case registered on accused after refusing to marry woman, made sexual relations several times after victim's father's death

Bhopal: Fed up with the daily beatings by her husband, a woman took her daughter and started living at her father's house. After the father's death, the father's acquaintance expressed sympathy for the woman and expressed confidence of supporting her. He started physically abusing the woman while staying with her. Recently, when the woman pressurized him to get married, he flatly refused. On the basis of the complaint, the Hanumanganj police station has registered a case of rape against the youth.
According to the Hanumanganj police station, the 32-year-old woman lives in a colony in the area. She works as a cook in the canteen on the platform of the railway station. Earlier she was married, but her husband used to beat her. That's why she came to her father's house with her daughter. She has been living at her father's house for many years. His father also died in the year 2014. His father was in the staff of the Railways. At that time a young man named Prabhakar Mishra had to visit the woman's house. Prabhakar used to work in the railway canteen. The woman had come to know him because of his frequent visits to her house. After the death of the father, Prabhakar told the woman that I want to marry you. I will also take care of your baby girl. The woman also needed a support, so she fell for Prabhakar. One day in March 2017, Prabhakar reached the woman's house. At that time the woman was alone in the house, taking advantage of the desolation, he raped the woman. Soon after this, he started torturing her on the pretext of marriage.
In February 2022, Prabhakar made an excuse of his mother's illness and left the woman. In the last one year, the woman repeatedly pressurized Prabhakar to marry him, but he did not agree. Distressed, the woman complained about the matter to the police station on Thursday. Hanumanganj police is looking for the accused Prabhakar.
