Guru Purnima Parv today celebrated around the country, Shashwati Mandal from Delhi to present classicals at Bhopal

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh):Classical songs, Kathak and Bharatnatyam group dance will be held at Tribal Museum on Thursday evening from 7pm.
Shashwati Mandal from New Delhi will present classical songs. It will be followed by Kathak and Bharatnatyam group dance by Shalini Khar, Amrita Jagam with their troupes.
The event will be part of ‘Guru Purnima Parv,’ organised by the directorate of culture to mark Guru Purnima. Apart from Bhopal, the event will be celebrated in 12 government fine arts and music colleges in different cities of the state. Song, dance, instrumental music, lecture, demonstration will be organised under the event.
Kathak by Pradeep Krishnan (Bhopal), singing by Salim Allawale (Bhopal) and Sarangi recital by Abid Hussain (Bhopal) will be held in Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Gwalior.
Singing by Anil Kumar Dandotia (Jabalpur), santoor recital by Satyendra Singh Solanki (Bhopal), singing by Sunanda Sharma (Delhi), violin jugalbandi by Mahesh-Amit Malik (Bhopal) will be held in Govt Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Mandsaur, Indore and Dhar respectively.
Singing by Jayshree Sawagunji (Bhopal), Kathak group dance by Mangala Bhatt and Raghav Raj Bhatt (Hyderabad), lecture and demonstration by Shashiprabha Tiwari (Delhi), Ramchandra Kharatmal (Pune), Mohan Vishwakarma (Indore) and Alok Sharma (Gwalior) will be organised at Government Lalit Mahavidyalaya Gwalior, Jabalpur, Dhar and Indore respectively.
