Gwalior: Retired SDO kills himself with his gun, suicide note blames daughter in law

A retired SDO from the Department of Agriculture committed suicide by shooting himself with his gun. He lived in Vinay Nagar Sector-4 near Ratiram Garden. Police reached the spot on the information of the incident on Tuesday morning and got a suicide note.
The retired SDO has expressed his pain in the suicide note. Wrote - 'For the house, the daughter-in-law called me a thief. Her father and brothers beat me and lodged false cases. I have been murdered socially. I do not want to live anymore. ' The police have started an investigation with the dead body under surveillance.
62-year-old Rajendra Singh Rajput, resident of Bahodapur Vinay Nagar Sector-4, was a retired SDO from the Agriculture Department. He retired from Bilaspur Chhattisgarh on 9 September 2018. He is survived by his wife and two sons. The elder son is a professor and is currently posted in Shivpuri. The younger son is posted in a government department in the city itself. Preeti Singh's daughter-in-law's elder daughter is in Shivpuri. The daughter-in-law and her family members were asking the property in Vinay Nagar to be named after her daughter-in-law. Rajendra Singh was upset with this.
He woke up on Tuesday morning. Drank tea that his wife gave him. After this, the wife got engaged in other work. He took out his 12 bore double-barreled gun from the cupboard and pressed the trigger on the chin. The bullet pierced his jaw into the wall. Hearing the sound of the bullet, his wife and the people rushed there, but by then he had died.
The Bahodapur Police Station has started an investigation. Also, forensic expert Dr. Akhilesh Bhargava reached the spot. He has closely examined the entire scene.
