After CM expresses displeasure, bar of Rajdoot Hotel in Bhopal shut down by administration in Bhopal

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed displeasure over illegal activities being conducted near religious places in the city. Regarding this, he told the officials of Municipal Corporation and District Administration that such a mess should not happen. Wherever such activities are being conducted, all should be stopped. After their displeasure, the administration swung into action and sealed the Ambassador Hotel operating near Hamidia Road Gurdwara while taking action. There are many places in the city where liquor shops are being operated near religious places. Even after protesting against them, no action is taken by the administration.
According to the information, the devotees had complained to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan about drinking alcohol at the Rajdoot Hotel located near the Gurdwara. In his complaint, he had said that there is a bar here as well and due to which the devotees face problems. Dirt is spread here, ruckus is created by consuming alcohol. Being a religious place, such activities should be stopped. After this, when Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reached the Gurudwara on Monday to attend the Veer Bal Diwas programme, the devotees again told him about the hotel. Expressing displeasure on this, the Chief Minister said that such activities should be stopped near the religious place. He instructed Collector Avinash Lavania to take immediate action. After this, in the team formed under the leadership of SDM, officials of Administration, Excise and Municipal Corporation reached the spot and started action. Due to outstanding property tax of Rs 28 lakh 65 thousand on the hotel, the Municipal Corporation was locked. The bar has been sealed by the Excise team.
