Woman posted at Revenue Department raped by her relative, police registers FIR

Bhopal: In the Misrod police station area of ​​the capital, a case of raping a woman posted in the Revenue Department by a relative has come to light. The accused also assured the victim of marriage and took money on the pretext of help, but later refused to marry. After this, the victim reached the police station and lodged an FIR against the accused. According to the police, a 33-year-old woman, while giving a complaint application to the police station, said that she is working in the Indore Revenue Department. She also keeps visiting her brother's place in Bhopal. She is going through a divorce case with her husband. He told that a relative named Aman Verma was visiting his house. When she started living separately from her husband, he used to come to meet her. Meanwhile, he told them that he too would divorce his wife. After that he will marry her. The woman came to his words. Meanwhile, on 22 December 2020, the accused took the woman with him to the 110 Royal City room in Salaiya. Where he committed wrongdoing with the victim. Later whenever the woman came to Bhopal, he would take her with her and rape her. The accused has also taken money from the woman on the pretext of helping. When the victim pressured her to get married, Aman refused and threatened to kill her. On the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against Aman Verma under the sections of rape and intimidation.
