Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh - Six years have passed since the tragic Mandsaur firing incident during the farmer's movement, but the families of the victims are still awaiting justice. One grieving father, Durgalal Dhakad, whose son Ghanshyam Dhakad was killed in the violence, has been longing for answers about his son's death. Despite numerous efforts, he is yet to receive the post-mortem report, leaving him with little hope for the culprits to be held accountable.

Ghanshyam Dhakad was only six years old when his father tragically lost his life. Today, his son Rudra is growing up without the guidance and presence of his father. As time passes, he begins to understand the significance of his father's absence. However, he finds solace in the love and care provided by his mother and grandfather.

Durgalal Dhakad, while consoling his grandchildren and daughter-in-law, has lost faith in the justice system after six long years. Yet, he persists in his demand for the culprits to be punished. However, before justice can be served, he emphasizes the need for the investigation report to be made public.

The farmer's movement in Mandsaur, which took place six years ago on June 6, shook the entire state and garnered national attention. The death of five farmers due to police and CRPF firing and the death of one farmer due to police beating in Dalauda led to widespread violence. While the Justice JK Jain Commission investigated the deaths caused by bullet injuries, the magisterial inquiry into the death of the sixth farmer due to police beating has not seen any progress.

Durgalal Dhakad's anguish stems from the fact that he has tirelessly sought answers regarding his son's death but has found no solace. The cause of his son's death remains unknown, and the post-mortem report has not been provided to the family. Despite the passage of six years, justice has remained elusive.

This incident stands as a stark reminder of the need for accountability and transparency in cases of such magnitude. The grief-stricken families of the Mandsaur firing victims continue to wait for closure and justice, hoping that their agonizing wait will finally come to an end.
