Khargone, Madhya Pradesh: A case of mob lynching has come to light in Nimrani in the industrial area of Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. It is being told that four days ago, outside a factory, a young man was beaten up by a mob on the suspicion of theft. After the video of the incident went viral, the police officials have registered a case against the four accused. Not only this, the outpost in-charge has also been suspended for taking late action and the matter is being investigated. In Nimrani of the district, a person who works as a drummer has been brutally thrashed by people on the suspicion of theft. After this, the police registered a case and arrested Aditya. After the video went viral, the police registered an FIR on behalf of Aditya and registered a case against the accused who committed lynching under other sections of IPC including ST SC Act. According to the viral video, the youth was beaten up because he had a beard on his face. In the video, by repeatedly asking his name, he was being killed saying that he belonged to a particular religion. The victim's mother also alleged that her son was forcibly seen by taking off his clothes by pretending to belong to a particular religion. Whereas the victim had told him his name and caste. The police has now started investigating the matter.
In this viral video, a mob is beating a bearded man with sticks. It is clearly heard in the video that the person who killed the person is being asked his name again and again. Not only this, he is being killed by telling him to belong to a particular religion. However, the person who killed himself is telling his name again and again. Along with this, he also told the people who killed him about his religion and caste, but the mob kept lynching with him.
According to the information received, on the night of August 3, a young man who worked as a drummer was brutally beaten up by people in the Narmada Food Processing Company, Nimrani, in the apprehension of theft. When the victim's brother came to know about the viral video, he wanted to file a report in the Khaltaka police post in Khargone, but his report was not written. When the matter started escalating, an FIR was later written at the Khaltaka police post.
The victim's brother got the police written in his Tahrir that on 03.08.22 at 11:00 am, Kalu Kewat and Bati Pachole came to me and told that a video of assault with your brother is going on on social media. In this video, the employees of Narmada Food Processing Company Nimrani are seen punching and beating her with sticks and belts.
When I got to know their names and addresses from the people, it came to light that Ritesh Sharma, Ramniwas Chaudhary, Bablu Daudve, Chetan Patil and other residents of Narmada Food Processing Company threatened to kill them by beating them up and my family was also killed by the employees. Threatening to kill is being given that if you report in the police station, you will kill me.
Order of inquiry against outpost in-charge
Here Khargone Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh said that the matter of assaulting a young man has come to his notice. His videos have also gone viral. After searching for the victim, a case has been registered against the people who are seen beating in the video on behalf of his family members. After coming to the notice of the incident, an inquiry has also been ordered against the outpost in-charge for negligence. In this matter, the SDOP is investigating.
