Bhopal police honours martyrs by taking out a 15 km long bike rally

Bhopal: 75 meters long tricolour flagged off by the police in the presence of the State’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra and State’s Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of Independence. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while addressing the dignitaries like police officers/employees, members of city/village defense committees, non-government Organisations, police internship students, etc., involved in the tricolour rally, said that the police, along with the public, worked for the community policing system. Under the spirit of strong public service and patriotism was awakened, the result of that is that today such a large number of girls, children, women and members of city/village defense committee have joined the tricolour rally, who have joined forces with the police and democratically. Impressed by the spirit of patriotism under the police system, today Shivraj said he have participated in this grand rally. He wished all the best to everyone as well as he congratulated DGP Shri Sudhir Saxena and Police Commissioner Makrand Deoskar, under whose guidance the Tricolour rally, decoration and other activities have been carried out by the police since the last days under the Har-Ghar Tiranga campaign. Cultural programs are being organized.

Bike rally under the leadership of DCP Zone 3 Riyaz Iqbal started from Commissioner's office via Roshanpura, reached Lal Ghati via Polytechnic Square, Kamala Park, Reit Ghat, VIP Road and from there via VIP Road to Reit Ghat, Kamala Park, Polytechnic Chhota Talab Road, in front of Ravindra Bhawan via the intersection, ended in the Red Parade passing through the 7th Corps. About 400 police officers/employees, including two IPS officers, 10 ACPs, 25 inspector level officers, including 50 women policemen on 200 bikes, participated in the 15 km rally. The women's team was led by ACP Headquarters Swati Murao and ACP Crime Bittu Sharma on a bullet vehicle. The entire traffic arrangement during the rally was done by DCP Traffic Hansraj Singh. After the tour the bike rally ended at the Lal Parade Ground Police ended at the martyr memorial site and by presenting at the martyr memorial, tributes were paid to the martyrs and homage was paid to the martyrs who laid down their lives in the honor and glory of the country.

The Grand Tricolor rally on foot was led by DCP Zone 1 Sai Krishna Thota and DCP Zone 2. Shraddha Tiwari. A 75 meter long tricolour was also included in the rally, which started from the commissioner's office, passed through the front of MVM College, reached Raj Bhavan Tirahe and back through the front of MVM College Ground and concluded on red parade. In the said rally, the police bands were further enhancing the beauty of the rally. In the said rally, about 950 women/male members of town village/defense committee came from all police stations, about 400 students/girls of 19 colleges of student internship, 200 students of NCC, 375 members of power committee, 350 women of justice chapal, About 2000 people, including people's committees and 300 members of non-government Organisations and about 800 women/male police officers/employees, participated. All the parties involved in the rally were welcomed by DCP Zone 4 and arrangements were made for distribution of snacks to all and best wishes and congratulations to all the citizens and policemen involved in the rally.
