Crime review meeting of all the districts was taken by Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan through virtual meeting on 8-10-22. In pursuance of the order, till late night on 9-10-2022, by the police station in-charge of the city and countryside, 2 accused were raided with illicit drug ganja, 33 accused with illicit liquor and 1 in cafe/hookah bar. While taking action against 3 accused, 5 kg, 200 grams of ganja worth about Rs 1 lakh, and 281 liters of raw, 541 pav of country/English liquor worth Rs 50 thousand and 2 hookah sets and 4 tobacco flavors were confiscated.
Police station in-charge Tilwara Shri Laxman Jharia said that Ajay Singh Rajput, 38 years old, was caught red-handed with 3 kg 700 grams of ganja by raiding the Crusher Basti Sagada on the information of a reliable informer on 9-10-2022. . While taking action against the accused under Section 8, 20 NDPS Act, inquiries are being made in relation to where and how the said ganja was obtained.
Similarly, police station in-charge Ghamapur Shri Chandrakant Jha told that during the morning of 9-10-22 today, 30-35 year old youth started running towards Adhartal Shobhapur Bridge after seeing police vehicle on the road in front of Bhootnath temple from Patrolling Kanchghar to Testing Road.
