On the second day of Teacher's Day, on September 6, the candidates who passed the eligibility test demonstrated a one-day strike at Neelam Park in the capital and demanded that the teacher recruitment 2018 pending for the last 4 years be completed with equitable post distribution by promotion and second counseling. The protesting candidates including Ranjit Gaur, Raksha Jain, Sandeepa Shukla told that permanent teacher recruitment is pending for the last 4 years. Therefore, by conducting second counseling, the government should complete the teacher recruitment very soon. Even before this, many times dharnas have been demonstrated by the eligible candidates from time to time.

The budget has also been passed by the state government for the recruitment of 24,200 teachers last year and 13,000 this year, but so far only nominal appointments have been made, whereas in 2018, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan himself recruited 62,000 permanent teachers with 50 percent women reservation. was announced.

The eligible candidates ended their protest by handing over a memorandum in the name of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan through the police administration.

It is to be known that permanent teacher recruitment is being done simultaneously by the Department of School Education and Tribal, in which repetition of the names of many candidates is also being seen in the selection lists of both the departments, in which the eligible candidates have also demanded for improvement so that Other remaining candidates can get the opportunity to become teachers.

Eligible candidates also alleged that CM Shivraj ji is repeatedly providing appointment letters to already selected teachers, while the remaining eligible candidates who are demanding appointment letters for themselves are forcing them to stage a sit-in.

After the demonstration, a delegation of eligible candidates also submitted a memorandum to the Commissioner, Directorate of Public Instruction, in which it was mainly demanded that the candidates after the academic session 2019-20 should not be included in the teacher recruitment of 2018 for the upcoming 2023-24. be included in the examination.
